Amenities
The Bungalow
The original bungalow was built in 1933 as a small farm house. The property has a rich history of
farming, mainly pasture hay for feed. More recently the property was a horse farm and has now
been acquired by the neighbors to become a special guest house. The exterior siding is cedar and
all the interior trim, doors and floor are natural fir with cherry cabinets. The two bedrooms are
carpeted with high grade Berber wool for warmth and comfort. A simple bungalow dedicated to
relaxation, comfort and peace.
Comfort
The color palate of the furniture, fabrics, and rugs are meant to soothe and please. The beds
are the epitome of refined comfort, featuring Vera Wang mattresses. The sheets are 400 thread
count, and 300 count duvets encapsulate down comforters. The pillows are both firm and extra
firm. The one and a half bathrooms feature beautiful fixtures with granite and tile.
Cooking
The very large kitchen is complete with a six burner Viking range and convection oven, large refrigerator,
Bosch dishwasher, large double sink, plenty of granite surface space to create your finest meals. There is
a microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee brewer and electric tea kettle, pots, pans, cooking utensils, dishes,
flatware and more. Serious attention has been taken to assure our guest a comfortable experience. Eat at
your kitchen table or at the large country French dining table.
The Farm
The circular driveway is bordered by a large hedge row to the north, large conifers to the west, plum trees,
maples, and a variety of shrubs and flowers. A stone and rock path surround the bungalow. The property will
be cross-fenced the summer of 2012 to accommodate horses.
Food & Wine
Food and wine are just two of the many experiences available close to the Hollywood Hill Guest
House. The Guest House is just across the street from two boutique wineries – Adams Bench Wineries
and Hollywood Hill Vineyards. Just down the hill are some of the top Western Washington wineries,
including the large producer, Chateau Ste. Michelle and other boutique wineries such as DeLille
Cellars, JM Cellars, Januik Winery, and Matthews Estate Winery. Excellent Northwest wine is
celebrated at the local restaurants. The Herbfarm Restaurant is internationally renowned as one of
America's outstanding dining destinations. The Barking Frog and Purple Wine Café are two of many
delightful dining experiences. If you like beer, you should not miss the Red Hook tour and pub.
You can find Italian, Mexican, Indian, Thai, Japanese and American cuisine just five minutes up
the road in downtown Woodinville.
